Insytli ("we," "us," or "our") operates the creator intelligence platform at insytli.com. We are based in Cairo, Egypt and act as the data controller for personal information collected through our Service.

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws. By using Insytli, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and password when you register.
  • Social Platform Data: Public analytics from connected platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), including follower counts, engagement rates, and post performance. We do not access private messages or non-public content.
  • Payment Information: For PayPal payments, transaction references. For InstaPay, we receive and temporarily store the screenshot you upload for verification purposes only.
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform, and device/browser information.
  • Communication Data: Emails and messages you send to our support team.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Insytli platform.
  • Display your creator profile and analytics to authorised viewers.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Send transactional emails (e.g., payment confirmations, account alerts).
  • Generate AI-powered insights based on your public content data.
  • Ensure platform security and prevent fraud.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with:

  • Payment Processors: PayPal for processing online payments. We do not store card details.
  • Infrastructure Providers: Supabase (database) and Vercel (hosting). Both are GDPR-compliant processors.
  • Legal Obligations: If required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

5. InstaPay Screenshot Storage

When you upload a payment screenshot for InstaPay verification:

  • The screenshot is stored securely in our private storage (not publicly accessible).
  • It is used solely to verify the payment amount, date, and time.
  • Once verification is complete (within 2–4 hours), the screenshot is retained for 30 days for audit purposes, then permanently deleted.
  • Only authorised Insytli staff members can access uploaded screenshots.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and preferences. We use analytics cookies (privacy-respecting) to understand how the platform is used and improve it.

You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the platform to function.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate data in your account settings or by contacting us.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated data.
  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to processing of your data for marketing purposes.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or audit purposes (maximum 7 years for financial records).
